In this installation by Anish Kapoor, an 11-kilogram war cannon made of scarlet red wax registers a bloody color every time it is fired from a threshold against a white wall. This work of Kapoor is more reminiscent of British colonialism and the artist's reaction to wars, but considering other performances of Kapoor using the same material as this work, Kenji, who is targeted by a ball, refers to angry femininity.
